I finished guaging my ears about a year ago, nothing dramatic, just 10g & 12g. I know that the hospital won't allow the metal captive ball hoops I normally wear, but do any of you know if the would allow stone, bone, wood, or glass plugs? Or do you think that I would be ok with removing the hoops and they wouldn't start shrinking back to normal size?
I'm just concerned because my ears are very finicky creatures and I really don't want to go through the stretching process again. I would assume that as long as they don't have any metal in them that the plugs would be acceptable, but I wanted to know if anyone else has encountered this.

Re: x-post- Question for mommies with guaged ears
Mon, August 4, 2008 - 8:44 AMa friend of mine did the same thing
she was allowed to keep her retainer plugs in, and she had a c-sec.
her retainer plugs look like rivets to me, hollow tubes of metal
