Since I was ? months pregnant, I stopped accepting invitations to teach workshops, even though some were really fun and exciting. Just wanted to stay relaxed above all else so I could stay healthy and prepare in comfort according to me. I recently arranged a local workshop and that worked out well 4 me and my family, even w/ a show that night. [someone else coordinated the show]. I still don't see me doing out of town workshops again any time soon [except the occasional semi local one]- I'm still preferring to devote that energy to my son and the rest o' the fam so we are a relaxed happy bunch. I'm performing locally/semi locally to have fun and stay connected. I taught a beginner series semi recently to keep people interested. however, I'm interested in getting a general idea of when people started accepting invitations to travel and teach after having a baby. I know it is going to be individual, that everyone is different and has their own reasons, but I'm curious as to whether there is a trend or average baby age that works well. My son will be one this month and I don't see him happily playing while Mama teaches for a few hours.
