Thanks for the time in the main photo!
Jan 30, 2008 DeeDee Jo was born. There are a few pictures on my profile.
I also wanted a 'natural' birth, and like a few others here have mentioned, it doesn't always go quite as planned. I started out using acupressure for pain management, but as things progressed, I opted for an epidural. Overall, things went well, just not exactly how I imagined. In the end, I have a beautiful, healthy baby girl.
The fun story is telling people I did a few belly rolls and she popped right out! ;o)

Re: The Big Picture
Sat, March 1, 2008 - 8:46 AMCongratulations! My son's birth didn't go as planned. But, I did use some of my bellydancing for pain management. He's five now and happy and healthy.

Sun, March 2, 2008 - 8:34 AMCongratulations!!!! By the way, there aren't any awards for going natural. I sure wish I hadn't the first time around and the second time, well, was an emergency C. You really can't predict how things go. Good job on the belly rolls!
